Serial foodie and CEO of the PappaRich restaurant chain, Sebastian Low, founded EatAlley to offer the street food of his childhood from seven of Kuala Lumpur and Petaling Jaya’s best hawkers from under $10. Some have been adapted for the 150-seater food court, whose “branded” vibe features calming Peranakan green hues, terrazzo tables and cushy rattan chairs.

The stalls are run by cooks who have undergone rigorous training in Malaysia to learn the heirloom recipes and cooking processes from the brand owners, who then flew here to guarantee the taste and texture.
