georges launches new seafood menu alongside expansion

Affordable, cosy, and casual, nothing beats unwinding at georges, the popular neighbourhood restaurant and bar chain. In a landmark decision to bring their delicious food, signature service, and can-do attitude to even more people, the brand saw the opening of their first franchise outlet at Tai Seng in the midst of the pandemic in 2021, and are now steadily growing with proud announcements of a second franchise outlet opening at Choa Chu Kang next month, alongside a new outlet of their own at Bedok Reservoir – also coming up next month!

Celebrating over two decades of delighting patrons and bringing strangers together in Pasir Ris Park, georges @ The Cove has also launched a special Fisherman’s Wharf menu, paying tribute to the bistro’s humble beginnings within the now-defunct Pasir Ris Fisherman’s Village with a curation of contemporary seafood favourites.

Chow down on their Pimpin’ Prawns, a classic dish of charred prawns slathered with greasy kombu butter. For a sharing platter, opt for the Seafood Adventure with its generous serving of Cajun prawns, fried squid head, chilli mussels, and batter fish fingers atop a bed of crispy fries and onions rings, or go for the Fisherman’s Adventure, a satisfying platter featuring prawns, mussels, scallops, white clams, crispy squid head, potatoes, pork sausages, and corn all tossed together with either a sweet and spicy sauce similar to our own chilli crab sauce, or a zesty lemon garlic butter sauce.

Their upcoming outlets at Choa Chu Kang and Bedok Reservoir will still offer that georges budget-friendly booze and bar chow experience. With their casual, come-as-you-are vibes, you now have even more reason to head down for your next night of drinks with your buddies.

Fans will be delighted to find classic favourites like the BBQ Baby Pork Ribs, georges Cop-a-Lot Burger, and Beer-Battered Fish & Chips at the new outlets, alongside the Fisherman’s Wharf menu.
