What makes a happy traveller? The new global campaign by Shangri-La aims to answer that by helping guests find their personal moments of joy at the luxury hotel chain.

A whimsical brand film, directed by Grammy award-winning director Dave Meyers, celebrates Shangri-La Hotels’ commitment to world-class hospitality through unexpected moments of joy and unforgettable experiences.

Shot at renowned Shangri-La properties worldwide, the film captures various guest personas through five fanciful characters – the peony, hummingbird, penguin, toy train and wedding dress – and chronicles how they find their happiness at the hotels. Meyers reminds us that Shangri-La is not just a mental state, but also a physical one.

So what does “Shangri-La” mean to you? For many epicurean travellers, it means discovering outstanding food, unexpected flavours and unique culinary experiences.

And that’s what gourmands can enjoy at its exclusive “Find Your Shangri-La” menus and drinks, available at 13 Shangri-La hotels in France, China, Thailand, the Philippines, the United Kingdom and Singapore.

Guests will find Chinese and Asian cuisine interpreted through local culinary traditions, and get to delight in surprising flavour combinations and presentations until Aug 13. There are also tempting #FindYourShangriLa-themed cocktails and mocktails until Dec 31, 2023.
