As we enter a new year and prepare to usher in the Year of the Rabbit, InterContinental Singapore’s renowned Man Fu Yuan restaurant presents a luxurious selection of Lunar New Year delights and prix-fixe menus for us to celebrate the occasion and indulge in the most premium ingredients with our loved ones.
An extensive showcase of Chinese delicacies, fans will be glad to know that the restaurant’s iconic 60-inch Yusheng will still be making its appearance this year. The Prosperity Rabbit Yusheng is shaped into the Chinese character for “rabbit”, adorned with stellar ingredients like mini abalones, lobster, sea urchin, ikura, dried shredded Hokkaido scallops, salmon, and crispy fish skin, then finished with a honey pink guava dressing for a refreshing touch. Rice pops also replace the traditional crispy crackers this year for an elevated sweet crunch.
Presenting seven different set menus this year, there’s definitely something for everyone. Whether it’s an intimate date for 2, or a gathering of 10 pax and more, the team at Man Fu Yuan is certain there’ll definitely be a suitable option.
For instance, there’s their Blissfulness Prix-Fixe Menu, a fuss-free 5-course display of Man Fu Yuan’s signatures, including the Abundance Treasure Pot brimming with over 18 premium ingredients, including six-head whole abalones, lobster, whole dried scallops, South African fish maw, and dace fish ball. For more extravagance, go for the 6-course Reunion Prix-Fixe Menu. Featuring a curated selection of top-notch dishes, the menu will satisfy any gourmand with the likes of a Premium Seafood Bisque with Braised Crab Meat, Pan-seared A5 Wagyu Beef in Mongolian Sauce, Braised South Africa Three-head Abalone with Japanese Spiky Sea Cucumber, and Braised Chinese Ramen with Rock Lobster, Superior Crab Meat, And Crab Roe Sauce.
