There’s one more reason to eat healthy when you are in town. Poke Theory, a homegrown poke restaurant, is opening its largest outlet on Jul 17 with a refreshed, nutritionally elevated menu in Telok Ayer.

First opened in 2016 by brother-sister duo Joey and Vannessa Lee, this new 14th outlet located in the Central Business District, which is also MUIS Halal-certified, aims to stay true to its mission to provide healthy meal options made accessible to everyone.

The 1,500-square-feet, 104-seater restaurant is a chic, sleek space where diners can indulge in freshly made, protein-filled bowls.

Choose from some of their new signature bowls: Mentaiko Madness, which includes mentaiko mayo salmon, pickled onions, smoked almonds, edamame, corn salsa, carrot, and kimchi; O.G. Salmon, which includes original shoyu salmon, corn salsa, wakame seaweed, cherry tomatoes, carrot, pickled onions, and ramen egg; and Spicy Garlic Trippin’, which includes spicy garlic sesame tuna, wakame seaweed, Cajun sweet potato, edamame, corn salsa, cucumber, and spiced roasted cashews.

Vegan and vegetarian diners can order the Tempeh-tress which includes Miami tempeh, pickled green chillies, smoked almonds, cherry tomatoes, pomegranate, corn salsa, and lime avocado.

There are a total of 18 toppings (13 basic, five premium) for selection. Try the new toppings such as corn salsa and pickled green chilli, and new garnishes like fried shallot and garlic granules.

For those who enjoy creating their own poke bowls, choose the “Light” and “Regular” Build your Own Poke Bowl (BYOB) options that now come in two new sizes. These bowls are slightly bigger than previous ones to give diners more room to mix up their poke bowls

“Light” allows customers to have five toppings and up to two garnishes; and “Regular” allows seven toppings and two garnishes. They are inclusive of a non-sashimi protein option.

Poke Theory will also be bringing more beverage options through a partnership with Remedy Sodaly, a sugar-free and gut-friendly prebiotic drink that is made with all-natural ingredients. Flavours include Guava, Passionfruit, and Lemon Lime Bitters, available at the new outlet, priced at $4 each.
