It’s a can’t-go-wrong combination: beer and fried chicken. Koreans even have a word for it – chimaek, a creative combination of the word “chicken” and “maekju,” the Korean word for beer.

That’s why we are excited to welcome one of South Korea’s largest and most beloved craft beer and fried chicken brands, Daily Beer

The restaurant chain already has over 370 stores across South Korea, serving up craft beers exclusively produced in collaboration with Korean breweries and crowd-pleasing grub like crispy fried chicken, Golbaengi noodles, and Tteokbokki.

Opened in partnership with local F&B operator Katrina Group, Daily Beer’s  first international outlet is located on Telok Ayer Street in the heart of Singapore’s Central Business District, just across from Amoy Street Food Centre.

The Singapore outlet features a menu of seven craft beers served from the tap, each differentiated by its flavour profile and designed to pair with selected items from the food menu. The Kampong Pilsner ($14++) is a crisp and clean brew that complements french fries, while the K-Festbier ($14++) is a Marzen-style lager with a blend of sweet, caramel malt flavours, best enjoyed with sausages.

There are craft beers exclusive to Singapore, like the Telok Hazy IPA ($15++), a variety produced locally and named after the Telok Ayer location. This IPA features a rich aroma from Galaxy, Motueka, Citra, and Mosaic hops, and is said to be the perfect complement to fried chicken and the tropical Singapore climate.

Another exclusive is the Telok Pale Ale ($14++) with a refreshing, fruity aroma with Chinook, Idaho, and Simcoe hops. Beat the Singapore heat with the K-Ginseng Lager ($13++), brewed with whole Korean ginseng and designed to revitalise and uplift.

Opt for the Beer Flight (200ml x 5 for $35++), which offers a journey across a selection of five Daily Beer craft beers, or the Real K- Somaek 500 ($17++), a unique concoction of smooth Korean soju and ginseng beer.
