Established in June this year, the young restaurant boasts an elegant interior that’s perfect for special occasions and family dinners. Their menu is what makes you come back for more, with their mouth-watering repertoire of Nanyang cuisine that’s bound to evoke comforting memories of the flavours we grew up with.
Drawing influence from our local mix of Teochew, Hokkien, Cantonese, Hainanese, and Peranakan cultures, the team at Famous Palace continues to honour our culinary heritage with time-tested traditional recipes and a unique menu that reflects the diversity of Singapore.
Stealing the spotlight is the Famous Palace Sea Treasure Hotpot, where you can feast on the freshest fish, crab, and prawns cooked in a spicy and tangy broth. There’s also the Famous Trio Platter to deliver a strong start to your feast with a refreshing combination of their Chilled Century Egg Pudding, Charcoal Char Siew, and Ice Plant and Mini Tomato Salad.
Then dig into meaty highlights like the Wok-Fried Pork Ribs with Sweet & Sour Plum Sauce, Deep-Fried Tiger Prawns with Golden Crispy Garlic & Dried Chilli, and Volcano Chicken, with its own insta-worthy theatrics to boot.
Unique mains to look out for include the Sautéed Angel Hair Pasta with XO Sauce, an east-meets-west fusion that is sweet, smoky, and savoury all at once as they marry the delicate Angel Hair pasta with a traditional Hong Kong umami flavour. For something more traditional, there’s always the irresistible KL Style Hokkien Mee.
Round off the meal with a bowl of creamy Yam Paste with Gingko Nuts and Pumpkin that’s bound to satisfy everyone at the table. For a lighter touch, go for the Double-boiled Peach Essence with Snow Fungus and Osmanthus, a nutritious dessert that will make you feel good from the inside out.
