Tim Hortons is hard to miss when you are in Canada. After all, it is the country’s largest restaurant chain with over 4,000 stores – and counting.
Founded in 1964, Tim Hortons has been an icon of Canadian culture for over five decades. Its story began when one of Canada’s most celebrated hockey stars, Tim Horton, opened his eponymous coffee and donut shop in his neighborhood in Hamilton, Ontario.
Now, coffee lovers here in Singapore can experience “the taste and warmth of Canada” with its first-ever cafe in Vivocity.
The cafe features iconic drink items including signature coffee beverages brewed from 100 percent premium Arabica beans, and flavoured lattes such as locally inspired Matcha Latte and Chai Latte, and Iced Capps.
These are complemented by a food menu with made-to-order sourdough melts like Truffle Mushroom, and Pesto Chicken and Mozzarella, and the internationally beloved bite-sized donuts known as Timbits.
The brand has also introduced a new design concept to the cafe, which has made its debut in Singapore. It incorporates warm tones and organic shapes, drawing inspiration from the natural beauty of the Canadian wilderness and the timeless majesty of old maple trees.
Following the launch at VivoCity, Tim Hortons will open outlets in Nex, One Raffles Place and Suntec City in the coming months.
