Wong Fu Fu presents Singapore’s first Taiwan-inspired Hot Plate dining

When we think of Taiwanese street food, bubble tea and fried chicken cutlets come to mind. A long-standing go-to for many looking to satisfy their hunger and love for snacks at the same time, Taiwanese food never fails to delight.

Here to elevate that experience further is the new Wong Fu Fu, a Taiwan-inspired hot plate restaurant concept that’s making waves with their free-flow offering of Taiwan Bubble Milk Tea, amongst other beverages and mini buffet bar selections.

Accompanying their sizzling menu of meat and carb options, all served on individual hot plates, are a quartet of tasty Singaporean sauces. Muslim-friendly and with an aim to provide heart-warming flavours, choose from mains like Grilled Chicken Leg, Grilled Lamb Chop, Grilled Beef Striploin. Signature Taiwanese Fried Chicken Cutlet, Grilled Salmon, Mixed Grilled Seafood, Taiwanese 3 Cup Chicken, and the Plant-Based Hamburg option for vegetarians.

After picking their choice of meat, diners then get a choice of White Rice, Taiwan Egg Fried Rice, Udon, or Spaghetti to go in their hot plate, before finally topping it off with a choice or two of their Signature Brown Sauce, Black Pepper Sauce, Mushroom Sauce, and vegetarian Tomato Sauce.

All main dishes include free-flow drinks, so bubble tea lovers will also get to have fun with an endless amount of DIY Bubble Milk Tea, along with 9 different toppings to go with your drink.

Having sorted your mains, it’s time to head over to the Mini Buffet Bar where there’re up to 15 different types of cold and hot bites to grab, including Marinated Black Fungus, Marinated King Oyster Mushroom with Chilli Oil, Spicy Chicken Cubes, Marinated Japanese cucumber with Vinegar, Sweet Potato Fries with Plum Powder, Fried Vegetable Spring Rolls, Dumplings with Hot Chilli Oil, Taiwan-Style Prawn Omelette, Stir-Fried LaLa with Basil, and more.
