2015 was a big year for boutique hotel openings and an ensuing flood of staycations. Now the newly opened, Foster+Partners and Philippe Starck-designed The South Beach on Beach Road isn't boutique by any means, with 654-rooms across several buildlings, but it sure is pretty.
