There’s a serious first world problem we need fixed: why can’t we enjoy our after work happy hours alongside proper dinner-worthy food? That’s what the folks at Propeller rooftop bar thought so too, and praise be, they’ve launched a glorious food and drink combo perfect for fuss free merrymaking with the crew.

For just $58, you get to wine and dine till your heart’s content during their Merrier Hours. First up, the drinks. While ice cold beers on tap and spirits with your choice of mixer (if you're like us, go for the G&T) make for the perfect drinks to start the night, definitely go for the house wines too, as they’re offering generous pours of Casa Silva for their reds and whites—talk about not skimping on quality.

And instead of the usual tummy fillers, indulge in a spread of dishes that’s actually yummy and satisfying. The items available vary daily, but there’s always charcuterie items like parma ham, cheeses and olives, as well as two types of freshly made pizzas. What changes are a chef’s selection of six hot foods, that includes beef cubes, dory in lemon butter, sauteed prawns, blue mussels in Thai chilli, grilled vegetables, Guinness meatballs, and many more. Yup, it’s quite a steal.

If you’d like to take it to the next level, Propeller’s signature cocktails ($15-$17) are creative concoctions inspired by the many new and ancient wonders of the world. Get the dry and complex My Ah Gong’s Temper, made using the head bartender’s own homemade spiced rum, or the pretty Pink Island that’s both a treat for the taste buds as well as your cameras, among many other creations.
