Working Class Coffee (WCC) is Park Bench Deli’s (PBD) new coffee brand. It started out as a pet project by General Manager, Gustin Mahtani. WCC originated in the heart of an industrial makeshift coffee booth, serving cuppa joes to the average Joe. WCC is an independent, locally owned coffee roastery under Park Bench Deli. They source almost all of the coffee that they roast for themselves and their wholesale partners. WCC is a community-driven and family-inspired coffee brand that keeps shit authentic.

WCC will be available at PBD at Telok Ayer for coffee lovers to stock up on beans, or enjoy a freshly brewed cup. WCC blends will eventually be supplied to other cafes. WCC is meant to cater to everyday folks.

There are three different medium roast blends under WCC that caters to all sorts of coffee connoisseurs:

Docker: Hints of orange and vanilla (high acidity, low body)
Anvil: Hints of orange, peach, and chocolate (medium acidity, medium body)
Jackhammer: Hints of chocolate and nuts (low acidity, heavy body)

The beans are roasted in-house by an exceptional team. On the squad is Reduwan, Singapore National Brewers Cup judge and barista trainer for 2017 and 2018, and Luqman; Singapore National Cup Tasters Championship first runner-up for 2018.

All WCC beans will be sold at PBD in 150g bags—Docker ($15), Anvil ($10), and Jackhammer ($9). Should you need the beans to be grounded, all you have to do is ask.

WCC will be doing pop-ups around the island, so stay tuned for more!
