SINGAPORE RESTAURANT
The Flying Squirrel
Though hidden away on a side alley, the cozy space is packed with diners nightly. On the menu, find a selection of fusion Japanese bites such as their soba pasta ($16), featuring tomato-sauced noodles and breaded fried shrimp, as well as the TFS Signature Maki ($20), a colorful California roll covered with a host of different toppings including ikura (salmon roe), eel, scallop and shrimp with uni. There are also more traditional offerings like cha soba ($12), a sashimi platter ($42), and salmon and ikura chirashi ($13). At lunch, affordable bento sets including the Ebi Fry bento ($17) with breaded fried shrimp, curry sauce and rice are available.
