Luxe hotel Hyatt Regency Phuket (16/12 Moo 6, Tambon Kamala, Amphur Kathu) will throw open its doors in December.

Located on the west coast of Phuket, up on a hill south of Kamala Beach, the retreat will offer clear views of the Andaman Sea and  202 rooms, most with spacious balconies.

On-site, there’ll be a casual alfresco all-day dining restaurant serving both Thai and Italian food, as well as a poolside cocktail bar and lounge where the resident DJ will spin nightly. Also on the cards is an open-air grill offering locally-sourced seafood and imported meats. Other facilities include a large outdoor swimming pool, a day spa and fitness centre.
