A thrilling April
Leading the charge in April is local talent DJ Wukong (born Alfy Ngor), who’ll be bringing his brand of Asian EDM (electronic dance music) to the table for his first show of 2024.

Having headlined sold-out performances here before – and counting millions of streams worldwide for his releases, which include viral hit Legend of Wong Fei Hung – you can safely expect the up-and-comer’s appearance to kick off the hype train in a major way.

Next in the lineup for the month of April is Zhu, an American multi-hyphenate musician who kicked off his career with a bang when Faded, a track in his debut EP (extended play) The Nightday, was nominated for a Grammy award. He’s continued to shine brightly since, with chart-topping albums and awards aplenty to go with a headline set at 2022’s Lollapalooza.

London-based record label Anjunadeep (Apr 20) will also be making a stop in Singapore as part of their Asia tour, with acts from Montreal-born pizza delivery rider-turned musician CRi, American indie house and techno producer Luttrell, and China’s soulful spinner, IPeiqi, planned for their debut here.

Others on the list for April include Aussie DJ-producer duo Bonka, who’ve made their mark around the world with slick main room beats and explosive mashups, as well as new resident spinner Krisha.

May madness
Bringing us into May is Argy (May 3), born Argyris Theofilis in Rhodes, Greece. The sonic artist is known for creating genre-defining music that has reverberated across the industry.

The veteran DJ made his mark both in terms of chart-topping releases – the most famous of which was techno anthem Ketuvim in 2021 – as well as performances in  other celebrated nightlife venues like Afterlife, Hi and Ushuaia, and Printworks.

Afro Bros

He’ll be joined in the following days by two double acts: first, American DJ duo Slander (May 10), who stepped out into the limelight with their unique sound and subgenre of “heaven trap”; and later, by the Latin DJ-producer pair known as the Afro Bros (May 21), whose 2018 track “X” was nominated for the Latin Grammy Awards in the wake of amassing over 1.9 billion views on YouTube.
