In the latest turn of events for the 2013 F1 season, the organizers of 1 World Music Festival have pulled the plug on the musical jamboree just two days before the event was set to take place.
Cyberspace and social media is currently abuzz with shock, anger and sheer bewilderment in reaction to the last minute pull-out. Organizers Reftar Entertainment have been robust in their months-long publicity for the event and announced the news at 9:16pm on Wednesday via their Twitter page.
The full announcement was made publicly on their website as well.
The artist line up, released in three batches, promised an impressive mix of local and international acts such as Snoop Lion, Moby, Iggy Azalea, Cobra Starship and more.
Ticket holders are advised to get their refunds via the respective ticketing agents after September 25.
