French wine bar O Batignolles celebrates its third anniversary with a week-long bash with Champagne and wine deals, cheese tastings and a French wine fair.
EXHIBITION
The ArtScience Museum shows over 40 rare deep sea creatures in perfectly preserved crystalline forms at The Deep. See images of sea fauna, living fossils and weirdly wonderful creatures, many photographed for the first time.
WELLNESS
Late night parties are out. Early morning pre-work raves are in. The Zespri Golden Morning kickstarts today with plenty of yoga classes with pumped-up DJ music, CruCycle sessions and an alcohol-free party at Kyo.

COMEDY
The Singapore Comedy Fringe sees 12 shows happening across five days with 30 international and regional comedians, including local acts like Kumar and Sharul Channa. There’s also a Best of British showcase and an American-Canadian night.
EAT
You may not be Portuguese but you can still celebrate the country’s national day at Boca, which has a special sharing menu for two people with dishes like flamed chorizo, fish and seafood cataplana, sauteed beef and the famed Portuguese egg tart.

PARTY
It’s three nights of French DJs at Loof, The Black Swan and Tanjong Beach Club. Expect melodic house tunes from Kartell, Crayon and Cezaire at The French Cartel. The best part? All the shows are free.
ART
Canvas’ Creative Space presents Italian-born, Singapore-based Zada Tagli. Her “Daphne’s Whimscope” is an exploration into dreamscapes of fantasy lands and terrains based on memories. This multi-disciplinary exhibition includes paintings, performances and videos.
FILM
As a part of the Middle East Movie Night series, there’s a screening of Paradise Now, a film that won the Golden Globe for Best Foreign Film in 2005. It follows two Palestinian friends 48 hours before their suicide mission in Israel.

As a part of Fost Gallery’s initiative in promoting local talents, local artist Ashley Yeo explores the human condition through moody and affecting black-and-white figurate drawings in You Must Imagine Sisyphus Happy.
FILM
The second part of the Middle East Movie Night shows 5 Broken Cameras, a film about a village’s resistance to sprouting Israeli settlements and a family’s attempts to lead a normal life during the struggle.
POP-UP
The DBS pop-up beach in Marina Bay starts this weekend but you can get in on the action early with stand up paddle boarding and SUP yoga classes, starting at 3pm.

San Francisco-based DJ Giraffage spins his dreamy synth-pop tracks for the first time in Singapore. But if that’s not your thing, head to the indie party, Tropical Explosion with Miles Cleret. There will be Latin American, Caribbean, reggae and psychedelic rock tunes by pioneering world music DJ Miles Cleret and local heavyweights like Bhayology and Kostas.
MUSIC
the rooftop getai at People’s Park Complex have become a party series, it appears. Happening every Friday and Saturday for the month, Getai Holidays at Lepark has stripped down sets of live music with local musicians like Tim De Cotta and Blankverse.
