Print Lab (through Jun 14)
The first ever print and design publication exhibition has independent zines and books by emerging artists and designers on diplay and for sale. Everything is self-published and includes subjects like poetry and artistic discourse by Tang Ling Nah and Viviana Meija among other local writers.
Girls of the Underworld (through Jun 28)
34 young Singapore-based female artists explore what it means to be a woman living and working in a fast-paced and modern Asia through mediums like illustrations, collages and even GIFs.
King For A Day (through Jun 22)
We love this show before even seeing it, because of the cool concept: seven young Singaporean artists, including Filip Gudovic and Victoria Aravindhan, are given free reign to transform a room into a solo project that runs for two days at a time.
Laidback Luke (Jun 6)
This Filipino-Dutch graffiti artists-turned-DJ has plenty of claims to fame, including chart-topping songs like “Collide” and “Let Me Love You” and a spot on DJ Mag’s list of Top 100 DJs. So join in the frenzy and dance to this superstar’s energetic set all night long.
Beerfest Asia 2014 (Jun 12-15)
Sample beers from all over the world while enjoying live music, workshops and scarfing down pub grub at this annual festival. We even got the lowdown on six new beers making their debut this year and a compiled complete guide to doing some strategic drinking.

Hostess Club Weekender (Jun 14)
With big acts like gloomy songstress Cat Power, Sohn and Blonde Redhead, this music festival doesn’t really need an introduction. After it’s Fort Canning iteration, it’s moving this time around to Infinite Studios, but we expect it’ll be just as rocking.
Deerhoof + The Trees and The Wild (Jun 19)
San Francisco noise-pop outfit Deerhoof and sometimes-sweet-sometimes-frenzied West Javanese rockers The Trees and The Wild join forces for a great night of music.
Iranian Film Festival (Jun 19-22)
With highly-acclaimed films from directors like Reza Mirkarimi and Bahram Tavakoli, this slightly controversial film festival gives insight into this mysterious nation with offerings like The Private Life of Mr and Mrs M, Here Without Me and 2012 Academy Award winner, A Separation.
Gem Bar’s Fifth Anniversary (Jun 27-28)
The weekend-long festivities for this Club Street fave brings together five collectives under one roof with acts like Syndicate and Darker Than Wax. They’ve even got Teebs, an LA-based hip hop DJ and illustrative artist, doing a set.
National Theatre Live (Jun 28-29)
Even though you may not be able to see Benedict Cumberbatch in the flesh, you can still catch him being transformed into Frankenstein in the filmed versions of National Theatre’s productions. Also in store is Helen Mirren in The Audience and Tom Hiddleston in Coriolanus.
Stories: A Pop Up Restaurant (Jun 26-29)
This mini-series of thematic dinners that celebrates the island’s heritage through food. With five-course dinners of classic Singaporean dishes prepared by Chef Stephan Zoisl, who has worked in Michelin-starred restaurants like Chicago’s Alinea, expect nothing but the finest. Pink Dot 2014 (Jun 28)
Our version of Pride, this annual event celebrates the LGBT community in Singapore and openness, tolerance and understanding in general. There’s even a concert with acts like The Voodoo Sound, Don Richmond and Broadway Beng, Sebastian Tan.
