16 upcoming concerts in Singapore to get excited about

We can barely contain our excitement after learning that Foals and Sigur Rós will be coming to town for Neon Lights 2016, but that weekend in November is still half a year away. Fortunately, we have no shortage of concerts to hit up before then.

Little Mix (May 23)

Winners of The X Factor 2011, the ladies of Little Mix come to town as part of their Get Weird Tour.

Damien Rice (Jun 4)

He’s here often enough, but given just how many of you get a bit lightheadedly joyful every time you talk about “Cannonball” we thought you’d like to know that sensitive Irish heartthrob Damien Rice is swinging by Singapore again.

Rachael Yamagata (Jun 2)

Her last album was in 2011, but that doesn’t mean we still don’t get a little teary listening to the American singer-songwriter’s sultry vocals and lost-love lyrics.

Scandal (Jun 4)

All-girl rock band Scandal will be back in town to promote their seventh studio album, [YELLOW].

Gentle Bones (Jun 10 & 11)

Singapore’s own Gentle Bones performs at the Esplanade Concert Hall for two nights (the Jun 10 show is already sold out).

Neil Zaza (Jun 16)

Rock out with melodic instrumental guitar soloist Neil Zaza as he performs at this intimate gig at the Esplanade Recital Studio.

Greyson Chance (Jun 18)

Sure he’s kinda too young for you, but he’s playing the cozy rooftop at Serangoon Garden (late night visit to Chomp Chomp after the show!) and that too along with the lovely local singer-songwriter Inch Chua.

Nathan Hartono (Jul 9)

Join Nathan Hartono as he celebrates a decade in music with this show at the Esplanade Concert Hall.

Selena Gomez (Jul 27)

After cancelling on us back in 2014, Selena Gomez will finally perform in Singapore for the first time as part of her Revival Tour.

Tegan and Sara (Jul 29)

Everything is awesome with indie pop duo Tegan and Sara coming to town. The twins will be here to promote their latest release, Love You to Death.

Kenny Rogers (Aug 6)

You loved his timeless hits (and his roast chicken) and now its time to celebrate the career of Kenny Rogers as he stops in Singapore on his farewell tour.

Weezer (Aug 15)

From classics of our time like “Say it Ain’t So”, “Buddy Holly” and “My Name is Jonas” to new material from their fourth self-titled album (aka The White Album), it’s going to be one heck of a night.

Panic! at the Disco (Aug 16)

Join Brendon Urie and co as they drop by to promote their new album Death of a Bachelor.

Nothing But Thieves (Aug 18)
