Scottish musical duo Honeyblood will unleash their brand of lo-fi and garage rock come Mar 27. Now with two albums under their belt, Stina Marie Claire Tweeddale and Cat Myers promise a raucous night of anger, humor and melancholy, all in one concert. Mar 27

Your next trip to East Coast should include a stopover at Firebake Woodfired Bakehouse and Restaurant. This new rustic European bakehouse is a more “atas” version of a neighborhood bakery, providing a slew of European dishes and woodfire-baked sourdough bread.

One of Singapore’s most anticipated food festivals has returned for its 21st edition. The quiet little taxi stand area in Clarke Quay has gotten some action with the arrival of a a new retro American-style diner that proclaims to be the home of the iconic Philly cheese steak. Philly Shack is a cozy, unpretentious, no-frills resto where you can shamelessly get your hands dirty; a great option for a go-hard-or-go-home type of dinner.

Singapore photographers Liana Yang and Lavender Chang will be presenting Pet Me, Pet Me, Look at Me, Love Me—images exploring ideas regarding intimacy and longing, all inspired by written works. Only in its fourth year, SingJazz already has earned a reputation of placing a heady mix of international and local artists on its bill.
