This fifth edition of the Singapore Biennale, titled “Atlas of Mirrors”, is in its last couple weeks, showcasing 58 pieces and installations from 60 artists (10 of which are Singaporean) and three art collectives. Singaporean filmmaker and Cannes darling Boo Junfeng started out making many short films before eventually producing his very first feature in 2010. Catch the screening of Sandcastle, Boo’s debut feature that explores the issues of the individual and national identity through the eyes of an 18-year-old. Admission is free, and so is the popcorn. The award-winning musical Chicago, based on events from the 1920s, has finally hit our shores. One of the greatest American rock bands of all time, Journey, returns to Singapore after four years.
