- It’s not too late to treat yourself to some relatively affordable fine dining nosh at Restaurant Week that runs until the weekend. The fairly lengthy list of participating restaurants includes Tiong Bahru’s Ikyu, Garlibaldi and Salt Tapas Bar.
- Shop until you drop at the Actually sale starting today. Snag goodies from Lazy Oaf, New Balance and Dr Denim.
Tue, Mar 17
- If you’re still suffering from post-St. Patrick’s Day blues, this is your last chance to get in on the Guinness action with beer-infused tapas and bar specials around town.
- Bluemonks Jazz Jam encourages you to pick up your instruments for a night of jazz, funk, swing and Latin tunes. There’s also an open mic for those brave souls.
- We just spied empty seats to Rufus Wainwright. It’s not too late to snag tickets to the singer-songwriter’s concert where he’ll be crooning songs like “Hallelujah”.
Wed, Mar 18
- A 1967 British film set in Singapore, Pretty Polly, shows at Malaya Black and White. Based on the Noel Coward play, it portrays the island as a hedonistic playground for swinging adults and romantic liberation. Rawr.
- But if you’re more of a blockbuster kind of person, there’s a Divergent marathon at GV where you’ll get to see Shailene Woodley and Theo James run around a post-apocalyptic Chicago and shoot guns.
- It’s surf & turf night at Greenwood Fish Market with plates of tuna and prawns and pork with scallops.
Thur, Mar 19
- Schedule in some laughs at this year’s edition of Magners Singapore International Comedy Festival with names like Joanna Sio, Phil Kay and Andre King.
- It’s 20 images shown for 20 seconds each at PechaKucha Night, an informal event that gathers creative-types to give presentations.
- Rock and roll with legendary old timers Crosby, Stills & Nash at their one night-only show.

- Local writer and visual artist Tania de Rozario shares her transcripts of interviews with artists and administrators in the local arts scene in Making Trouble.
- This edition of Art After Dark has outdoor film screenings, F&B booths and more live music in conjunction with Singapore Design Week.
- Storyteller Kamini Ramachandran shares stories about the “bad girls” of Indian folk tales in Shakti: Women Behaving Badly.
Sat, Mar 21
- Head to Little India’s newest co-working space for its opening party complete with workshops and an art exhibition at Little India Revolution.
- Starring Patricia Toh, Warpaint is all about her journey where she tests her body’s limits by training for a boxing match.
- Party with DJs Miles Slater and AN21 at the beach with Vibe Beach and Music Festival. Plus, you can play beach volleyball and soccer while you’re at it.
