February is set to be a super exciting month for music, with huge legends like Joe Satriani and Guns N’ Roses rocking out Singapore’s arenas, while The Moffatts and Yellowcard, both playing their last ever gig before calling it quits, will be bringing us an emotional, nostalgic night of music. Kult Kafe is throwing a whole night of reggae and dub with prolific DJ and producer Jstar helming the decks. He’ll be dishing out remixes of familiar tunes by Blackstreet, Gang Starr, Busta Rhymes and more. Fun fact: Diplo explicitly said once that Jstar was an inspiration for his Major Lazer crew. Feb 1

Singaporean filmmaker and Cannes darling Boo Junfeng started out making many short films before eventually producing his very first feature in 2010. Catch the screening of Sandcastle, Boo’s debut feature that explores the issues of the individual and national identity through the eyes of an 18-year-old. Admission is free, and so is the popcorn.. The award-winning musical Chicago, based on events from the 1920s, has finally hit our shores. Go on a journey with nightclub singer Roxie Hart as she sings her way to become the star she always wanted, meeting characters like double murderess Velma Kelly and charming lawyer Billy Flynn, along the way. One of the greatest American rock bands of all time, Journey, returns to Singapore after four years. Joe Satriani is returning to Singapore for the second time since 2014, this time as part of his Asian “Surfing to Shockwave” 2017 tour. Legendary LA rockers Guns n’ Roses are coming to Singapore for the first time. Though we already know what to expect from Slash after witnessing his sizzling guitar performance during Singfest in 2010, we are stoked to have them perform as a band at Changi Exhibition Center. Feb 25

The incisive, occasionally cross-dressing and viciously funny British comedian Eddie Izzard is coming to Singapore for his Force Majeure tour, where he has a go at French people (as usual), Lord of the Rings and musicals. Tickets flew so fast, they’ve added an additional show. Book it! Feb 27

American pop rock band Before You Exit is dropping by Singapore for the Asian leg of their All The Lights EP tour. The three brothers were signed to RCA Records/Sony Music after winning the third annual “Macy’s iHeartRadio Rising” star campaign and later released hit single “Model” in 2015. Feb 28
