South Korean hip-hop sensation Keith Ape is bringing his sick flow to Canvas Singapore. The 22-year-old got his first break when he released the gritty single “It G Ma” last year. The Singapore Eco Film Festival brings together many environmental organizations of Singapore, along with 22 films selected from around the globe and 27 panelists who will be hosting discussions around climate change, citizen initiatives and related issues. Also interesting is the bike-powered projector which will be used to screen Nature is Speaking, where big-deal actors like Liam Neeson, and Julia Roberts voice the various forces of nature. Now in its 27th edition, the Singapore International Film Festival continues to showcase some of the region’s best films. The Singapore Biennale is back after three years. This fifth edition of the contemporary art exhibition, titled “Atlas of Mirrors”, will showcase 58 different artwork presentations from 60 artists (10 of which are Singaporean) and three art collectives who were shortlisted based on their past work and art practices by creative director Susie Lingham and a bunch of museum and associate curators.
