5 exciting markets to check out in Singapore this November

It might be just November, but it is always good to get a head start when it comes to Christmas shopping and these markets are the perfect places to hunt for presents. And of course, with any shopping, it is always good to have some good food as well. Here are five markets to check out this month.

Farmer’s Market at Loewen Gardens (Nov 5)

Loewen Garden’s Farmers’ Market returns again and they have a line-up of vendors selling fresh produce such as The Meat Club, where they will offer fresh cuts of beef and lamb; The Adriatic Pantry will let you sample their artisanal fare, from cheeses to truffles and The Real Food Market will let you try their oils and pasta, which can be taken home as well. There will also be Christmas-worthy gifts on sale as well.

Bazaar@Hive (Nov 6)

A rather sophisticated version of the usual pasar malam, the Bazaar@Hive will showcase a vintage flea market full of vinyls, home furnishing, handmade artisan leathers, and more. There’ll also be a food fair and beer and gin tasting sessions, as well as live music performances from the likes of JANNE, The Lost Box and others.

Set in the idyllic east, there will be a vintage market that goes on for three days at the Peranakan Heritage Building, Katong Square. Pushcarts will be sprawled all over the first floor (indoors and outdoors), and there will be a curated selection of vinyl records, kitsch fashion accessories, home decors and many more. There will also be a carnival of sorts for the kids, while the adults get some serious shopping done.

Come in early as it is a whole-day affair, fuel yourself with their brunch deals and start shopping as there will be a plethora of retail options such as Embrace Jewellery and Aussie high street fashion label, theWYLDshop. End the day with their dinner deal which includes free flow of wines.
