Pink Ribbon Walk
Held in October aka Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this walk is aimed to raise public awareness on breast cancer, to show support to the survivors and also raise funds for Breast Cancer Foundation as well. Take a brisk walk abreast one another clad in pink. Ticket prices starts from $40.Oct 1
The Make A Difference Race
Aimed to raise awareness on depression, this run hopes to help Singaporeans with depression to overcome it. With two race options, 3.5km Buddy Fun Run and 7km Competitive Run, show them that they are not alone in this fight by crossing the finishing line together. Ticket prices start from $45. Oct 8
Yolo Run
Also for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, this run encourages participants to be shirtless to show support to the women who have undergone breast cancer mastectomies. When you make this gutsy statement, X-Change Republic Pte Ltd will donate a sports bra, an important part of the recovery process, to the Breast Reconstruction Awareness Singapore. Tickets are at $54 for the 5k run and $66 for the 10k run. Oct 22
The Zouk Run
Zouk hasn’t made its big move to Clarke Quay just yet but partygoers (and runners) can sign up for their first ever Zouk run. Starting and ending it off at its Jiak Kim home, the three km running route will have you reliving fond memories of the good old days at Zouk. Don’t forget to cool down at the after-party as well. Ticket prices start from $42. Nov 5
Standard Chartered Marathon Singapore
The mother of all runs in Singapore, the annual Stan Chart is the one to book early to avoid disappointment. In fact, the six-person relay marathon is sold out already, as are half the slots in both the full marathon and half marathon categories. There’s a 10K catgory too. Regular registration for residents ranges from $75 for the 10K to $100 for the full marathon. If you happen to plan to actually win the full marathon category, the prize money is $50,000. Dec 3-4
Illumi Run 2016
After lighting up their running routes in the city at night, Illumi Run is heading over to Sentosa’s Palawan Green, turning it into a neon wonderland. Just like previous years, the night ends off with a massive party on Palawan Beach, featuring DJ Tinc and Rave Republic, and a pyrotechnic display. Ticket prices start from $62. Dec 17
