Singapore’s food scene has been livelier than ever this year, with events like Savour, Singapore Food Festival and Epicurean Market dotting the island to sate local foodies, as well as Singapore’s inaugural Michelin Guide launch a few months ago. Now, prepare your tummies for one of the region’s largest food event that’s returning for its 16th edition from Nov 18-21 at the Singapore Expo.
If you’ve ever wanted to find out where to get the best laksa, satay or any other local faves in Singapore but are too lazy to travel to try them all, then the Asia Pacific Food Expo is the place to be, as the organizers bring together food vendors both local and regional for all to try under one roof. You’ll be privy to a wide variety of food with vendors like Kwong Woh Hing, who will also be selling bean dumplings, a Julie’s booth that’ll see all your favorite biscuits and confectionary, New Peng Hiang with their their iconic Mao SHan Wang durian pork bak kwa, and international dishes like Belgium from Belgaufra Liege Waffles, Penang laksa by D’laksa and many others from regional countries.
Other highlights include live cooking demonstrations and the latest crockery and technology used in the F&B industry today. Check out what went down at last year’s expo:
