American indie rock band FUN set for first Southeast Asia concert in Singapore

New York City-based American indie rock band FUN is set to perform for the first time in Southeast Asia at The Coliseum, The Hard Rock Hotel at Resorts World Sentosa on March 15.

The band, most famous for breakthrough hit, “We Are Young” (see music video below), is among the most-nominated groups for the upcoming 55th Annual Grammy Awards, with six nominations including the Best New Artist award.

After debuting in 2009 with album Aim & Ignite, they quickly went on to open for Paramore and perform at Coachella alongside The Strokes and Jay-Z.

The group has also co-founded The Ally Coalition (TAC), a project to get music, fashion and entertainment communities to support LGBTQ equality. To raise awareness for their cause, the musicians went on a REVERB Campus Consciousness Tour to colleges all over the United States.

Now on an international tour, the band is set to hit Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Malaysia, the Netherlands, France, Ireland, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Austria and the United Kingdom.

Tickets are available from Sistic for $68.
