Andsoforth, known for their theatrical dining experiences, is clearing up three years worth of costumes and props at a garage sale happening on Apr 29, 12-7pm. But this ain’t your average garage sale. It will be packed with activities and F&B vendors done with their signature flair.
Props from past productions, like picnic baskets, are going for $25-30. Meanwhile, glassware, chairs and cutleries are all going starting from $2. But the real highlights are the F&B vendors such as Hambaobao, the famed burger hawker that closed in Feb at Beauty World Centre, which will be serving pulled beef and pulled pork burgers ($6.90). By the way, just a heads up, they are reopening in May at their same old space. Other vendors like The Queen’s Bar (from Andsoforth’s previous production, Dinner in Wonderland) will be on drinks duty, offering kopi martini, spiced pina colada ($10), kopi peng ($2) and more.
You can also look forward to live portraits and art merch by local artist Cloudhedd, which will cost you $5 for a five-minute portrait session. Other activities you can join include storytelling by one of the characters in Dinner in Wonderland, Mrs Caterpillar; a croquet session with The Caterpillar (also one of the characters); and floral workshops by florist With Every ($45; $80 for two).
The garage sale is held at 16 Lorong Ampas. Find out more here.
