Party planners Two Queens Asia is having their annual White Party at Sentosa’s Ola Beach Club this coming May 20, this time, celebrating their 10th anniversary. The party is something of a regional event for queer women and last year, some 2,000 women attended the revelry. This year, they hope to reach 2,500.
A highlight is the appearance of Orange is the New Black star Taryn Manning who played Pennsatucky in the American TV series. Catch her live set with songs like “Send Me Your Love” along with hits like “The Wreckoning” and “What U Do 2 Me”. Other DJs you can look forward to are Say Grace from Singapore; Melbourne’s Lilly, an up-and-coming model DJ; and Brazilian DJ Marjorie Sinclair.
Food and drinks are not included in the ticket price, but vendors selling finger food and drinks will be onsite. Also expect game booths, workshops and talks by local, regional and international speakers on LGBT topics in the week leading up to the party. More details will be announced soon.
