ArtScience Museum’s monthly late-night event series ArtScience Late has become something of a tradition, especially for lovers of edgy and experimental art and music. One night a month, on a Thursday, the museum is open late, from 7-10pm, and performance and music artists take the stage for unique shows you don’t see elsewhere.
The October edition of ArtScience Late, happening on Oct 6, is an especially exciting proposition, because the guest artist is none other than Baltimore-based EDM producer Dan Deacon, whose arrival has had our cool friends’ hearts aflutter for days. Deacon’s minimalist and uplifting electro sound comes with lavish visuals, and it’s a rare chance to see him in Singapore, that too in such a cozy space.
Here’s one of our favorite songs to get you in the mood:
Deacon’s show at Expressions Gallery is free, and there will be food and drink on hand. And if you want to check out the exhibitions after, there’s a one for one deal on tickets, so you can not only see the new Escher show that just went up, but also pair it with the exciting and brainy Big Data exhibition or that highly Instagrammable Future World permanent show.
