Homegrown artist and filmmaker Ho Tzu Nyen is selected to represent Singapore at the 54th edition of the Venice Biennale this year.
Since he unveiled his first solo project, Utama – Every Name in History is I (2003), the Young Artist Award recipient has proven himself to be one of Singapore’s important contemporary visual artists of his generation.
This will be Singapore’s 6th consecutive presentation at the Venice Biennale. Visual artist Ming Wong represented the country for last year’s edition.
