Beer lovers, here are 3 boozy parties happening this month

It may be a few months before huge events like the annual Oktoberfest and Singapore Craft Beer happen. While Singapore Cocktail Fest may be taking off next week, there still some beer-centric events happening to get your fix of IPAs, lagers, stouts and craft beers. Grab a buddy or two and have some great HTHT over equally great beers.

Beers on the Lawn at PS Cafe on Harding Road has returned, following their January edition. It will be yet another chill social event where you can schmooze over ice cold craft beers and ciders from 12-6pm. They’re still ironing out details on what beers they’re bringing in, but the last edition had Cockies’ Surf Coast Blonde, Mac’s Great White Cloudy Wheat and Napoleone Apple Cider, all for $10 each. There’ll also be a live DJ on music duty throughout.

The hipster craft beer house at Haji Lane organizes Singapore Craft Beer Tap Takeover, which means all the beers served are from Singapore breweries. Support local, they say, bringing together three breweries for a week long beer service. Luckily for us, besides at Smith Street Taps, we can still try the new big-flavored craft beer line Brewlander here, along with Rye & Pint Brewing Co, recognizable from their colorful rockstar cat stickers and Innocence Brewing, who will be presenting their new brew, Citrus Crush IPA, a burst of flavors with oranges, lemons and grapefruits.

If you’re dreaming of a beer house party, then this one organized by BonAppetour, a home dining organization and community marketplace that connects people to local home chefs, is for you. They previously had a similar poolside party too. For a price of $65 or $250 for a group of five, you’ll get to feast on free-flow vodka and craft beer, BBQ meat and seafood and their homemade coconut or Baileys ice cream. It’s a no frills kind of event, where you dress comfortably and meet other like-minded people.

Where: Spottiswoode 18, 18 Spottiswoode Park Rd.
