Following Hombre Cantina’s deliciously trashy collaboration with fried chicken paradise Bird Bird earlier this year, the Mexican eatery is now teaming up with too-cool-for-school yakitori restaurant Bincho for Juan Night in Tokyo (May 25, 7pm), which will offer a rad menu of Japanese-inspired small plates.
Charcoal grilled mentaiko chicken wings with Bang Bang sauce Chefs Asai Masashi and Jorge Leon will be whipping up dishes such as charcoal grilled mentaiko chicken wings with Bang Bang sauce ($14), Jitokko chicken tacos with radish and pina yuzu kosho dressing ($13) and cheese and jalapeno poppers with wasabi tampico dip ($17). The fusion fun continues with dessert—you might want to save some space for the delightfully sinful cajeta tempura ice cream, drizzled with dulce de leche sauce ($10).
