If it wasn’t before, it’s official now: cafe-hopping has replaced club-hopping as the cool thing to do over a weekend, what with tons of hip establishments dotting the city. Time-starved? Look forward to Cafe Fest, the world’s first-ever cafe-hopping event happening on the first weekend of September.
Expect lots of freshly roasted coffee, freshly-baked pastries and snacks from 12 different homegrown cafes, all gathered together at Marina Bay’s Waterfront Promenade to showcase their craft. On the list are hot spots including Maison Ikkoku, Toby’s Estate, OZ Specialty Coffee and more. There’s even live performances by local musicians such as Marc x Hashy, 53A and The Sessionists.
It’s not till September, but tickets are now available at the website. A two-day pass costs $20, complete with free rides and all-round access to everything the festival has to offer. If you want the full VIP treatment, opt for the $30 pass for access to the VIP area, expedited entry and a welcome drink to kickstart the day.
