More walks down memory lane this year—for those who are into Hallmark moments, you might want to catch this one night-only show by local composer and musician Dick Lee.
One of Singapore’s iconic showcases, this performance charts Lee’s musical journey spanning his childhood in the 60s’ to the debut of his famous Mad Chinaman alter-ego in 1989. This time, he’s collaborating with band leader Indra Ismail and theater industry veteran Jonathan Lim, who will be directing this production. If you’ve been playing “Home” on repeat (Dick Lee’s insanely popular tearjerker for National Day), you might want to book your tickets here.
The Adventures of the Mad Chinaman Upsized is showing on Sep 3, 7.30pm at The Esplanade Concert Hall.
