We are well chuffed for the chance to meet the forefathers of metal in person when they touched down in Singapore, but much disappointed that we couldn’t get onto the tarmac with Ed Force One, let alone witness the legends stepping off the Boeing 757 piloted by none other than frontman Bruce Dickinson himself. Making a beeline from the security checkpoint to the Jetquay lounge, most of the band weren’t in much mood for a chat, what after a 14-15 hour journey.
