Arts, music and design under one roof

Esplanade has been keeping their various spaces exciting with a myriad of activities, concerts, stage productions and more, as well as new plans which include building a $30 million waterfront theater that's slated to open in 2021. Just last September, Esplanade turned the space that was once home to former nightclubs Embassy and DXO into a new informal, versatile performance and rehearsal space called Esplanade Annexe Studio, which has seen numerous local and international acts performs, and a bunch of local album launches. Come May 20-21, they're hosting a massive open house that will bring a couple of F&B outlets from Esplanade Mall and local artists for a weekend of food trails, workshops, music performances and more.

The line-up of artists includes familiar names like Cyril Wong, Youth Poet Ambassador Pooja Nansi and Shivram Gopinath (of Party Action People). Together with two other performers, Stephanie Dogfoot and William Beale, they will be showcasing Spoken Word as part of Youth Poet Ambassador Programme.
