Known for gathering migrant communities and Singaporeans for big dinner parties, Culture Kitchen is back with its first quarterly instalment of 2015. The group aims to increase cultural awareness by highlighting something everyone can get behind: food.
This time, the focus is on Filipino culture and food. You’ll get to meet Filipinos residing in Singapore, taste their food and share their stories. Plus, who can say no to pork adobo and lumpia?
Past dinners have included biriyani feasts and Burmese foodie tours of Peninsula Plaza. Culture Kitchen also got an extra boost in funding after winning the Jetstar Flying Star Grant, which means you can look forward to even more dinner parties in the months to come.
The event is happening Aug 16, 7pm at Artistry. Entry is $5. Register quickly here.
