The World Gourmet Summit is happening right now, and the line-up’s bursting with workshops, talks, pop-up dining events and food markets through Apr 24. But if you haven’t got the time to check out the full schedule, here are two events you should definitely make time for.
WGS 20 Best Chefs
Happening from Apr 16-17, this culinary crash course offers 20 masterclasses conducted by top chefs in Singapore, and the list of names reads like a foodie’s wet dream—Andre Chiang, Willin Low, Ryan Clift, Julien Royer and the inimitable Violet Oon are just some examples. Admission is $70 for morning sessions and $50 for afternoon sessions. One-day passes cost $120 while two-day passes are available for $160. More information here.
Farmers Market at CulinaryOn
More interested in eating than spending time in the kitchen? This farmers market, also from Apr 16-17, features up to 20 food vendors selling organic produce and gourmet food products with a Champagne bar stocked with Moet & Chandon and Highland Park single malt Scotch whisky. Some participating vendors include The Butchers Club, Edible Garden City, Creamier and Huber’s Butchery.
