Survival tips:
- Photo ID is required for entry into the venue, so remember to carry it with you. Make sure your tickets are printed from GalactixAsia.
- Bring loads of cash. There are ATMs available but don’t count on supporting banks for your foreign cards.
- It’s a rain or shine event, so prep a poncho, sunglasses and slather on sunblock.
- Dress sensibly from head to toe. You’ll be spending hours raving outdoors, not a cushy air-conditioned nightclub.
- Only bring the bare necessities. Anything bulkier than a small sling pouch will weigh down your groove, so only take the essentials with you and keep your valuables safe.
- Handy survival kits (RM 25) are for sale at the venue in case of you forgot something.
- Have a trusty cab app on-hand and pre-book a car to avoid getting stranded, especially if you aren’t staying nearby. FMFA has partnered with Uber and MyTeksi this year to get you in and out of the festival. Otherwise, study the schedules of the frequent shuttle service between central locations and Bukit Jalil’s drop-off point (details available on the app and facebook page).
- Social media junkies, the official hashtag is #Kingofthejungle
- Think before you leave the showgrounds. Once you exit the venue, your wristband will be removed and you will not be allowed to re-enter.
