<p>Heads up: A gang of yellow burbling beans are dropping in to say <em>Bello</em>. After successful runs in five cities in Japan, the pop-up Minions Cafe is officially making a stop here in Singapore, delighting what we’re guessing will be hordes of local fans.</p>
<p>The pop-up comes as part of <strong><a href="https://www.facebook.com/theguestcafe/" target="_blank">The Guest Cafe & Diner</a></strong>, a hotly received dining concept that brings in fan favorite character pop-ups seasonally. The cafe, run by Parco (Singapore) Pte Ltd., was responsible for the Pokemon Cafes that were briefly in Singapore in 2015 and 2016 (cue the giant dancing Pikachus and dreaded recollections of the 4-hour queues). The newly announced "Despicable Me 3" Cafe, conceptualized for the movie released in June, is set to be just as big of a hit.</p>
<p>From <strong>Nov 23-Jan 31, 2018</strong>, look forward to your favorite friendly henchmen taking over Orchard Central. And come with a generous budget—the menu boasts 14 Minion-themed food and beverage items that include stews, desserts and even adorably decorated lattes. Also available at the pop-up are Minions Cafe original merchandise, currently not available elsewhere in the world.</p>

<p>And of course, be prepared to queue; the pop-ups in Japan attracted over 173,000 visitors across the five locations. Somehow, we’ve got a feeling Singapore might actually be able to top that.</p>
