Grammy-nominated electro-hop duo LMFAO is set to perform at Wavehouse on January 22.
This one night only gig will be the duo’s first ever performance in Asia and are supported by an exciting line up of DJs such as Inquisitive, Stas and DJ FM as well as dance performance by the Luxy Girls from Taipei.
With some hypnotic beats and incredible flow, LMFAO has become one of the premier acts in hip hop and “electro-hop.”
A staple in the dance/club scene, LMFAO are sought out producers having done remixes for people such as Kanye, Fergie, Katy Perry, Crystal Method and Black Eyed Peas.
Featuring the creative talents of DJ/rappers Redfoo (Stefan Kendal Gordy-Jackson) and SkyBlu (Skyler Gordy), the duo has had three songs on the Billboard Top 100 chart — “I’m in Miami Trick,” “Shots,” and “La La La.” The group also provided the opening theme to cable television shows “Kourtney and Khloé Take Miami” as well as “Jersey Shore.”
