It may soon be time for the Great Singapore Sale, but there are some more indie shopping occasions afoot as well. Vintage flea market Great Singapore Garage Sale takes place at the gardens area of the Goodman Arts Centre on Jun 14.
The first garage sale happened earlier this year and even though it rained, the turnout was great, with goods ranging from African handicrafts and handmade candles to old-school typewriters. This time, there will be 30 stalls, five more than last time. So, head on down and with some patience, you might just pick up some great finds. There’ll be more handcrafted items on sale as well, like jewelry, paper crafts and even items made with old Japanese kimonos.
