If you’re in the mood for a good biryani fix… come on, who are we kidding? We don’t need to be in a mood to dig into a plate of saffron-tinged basmati rice with tender, spicy mutton (or chicken), but now we have one more reason (if you need more convincing): Free Food For All (FFFA), a non-profit initiative that aims to provide free food for the less fortunate, is teaming up with Ramiza Briyani for the “A Meal For A Meal” fundraiser.
To foster a community bond, the fundraiser will be held in the heartlands of Singapore and will dish out plates of biryani, where every plate bought, another one will be served to someone in need. All the proceeds from the fundraiser will help fund their feeding programmes such as their daily dinner delivery where cooked food will be delivered to needy residences of Boon Lay, Chai Chee and Marsiling. So head down with your friends and family to feast, knowing when you leave with a full stomach, someone else in need has enjoyed a wholesome plate of biryani as well.
The meal sets (1-for-1) cost $10 each. Register here.
