Hey sneakerheads, Singapore’s biggest sneaker convention is back

It’s the event that sneakerheads, sneaker enthusiasts and purveyors of streetwear look forward to every year, so if you’re looking to cop a pair of rare kicks and limited edition shoes, this is the place to be. Singapore’s highly anticipated sneaker and streetwear convention, Sole Superior, returns for the fourth time on Nov 12 at Zouk.

Apart from digging around for high ticket, super hyped sneakers like Yeezy and Air Jordans, or fighting over that holy grail of all sneakers among other fellow sneakerheads, Sole Superior will also see a a mix of vendors from global brands and local retailers to independent labels and artists. One of the highlights at this year’s edition include free tattoos (yes the permanent ones) done by local tattoo artist Alfrey Tattoo and 2016 Batam tattoo convention winner Kelvin Monster. So if you fancy yourself some ink, you can pick from a flash sheet of graphics by artist collective, Tell Your Children.

As usual, attendees will have multiple chances to win coveted lucky draw prizes (will be revealed on their Facebook page and Instagram) worth over $20,000. Local designer Pras The Bandit returns to design the event-exclusive capsule collection, which includes caps, tees, embroidered military jackets and tote bags. Also, look out for the super limited Mister Tucks x Sole Superior 2016 hand screened T-shirts and Sole Superior Camping Chair, a three-way collab with outdoor lifestyle brand Terrainware and craftsman FIN which will be be placed outside Zouk in the queue. And if you really like it, you can take one of the 30 home. Music will be provided by music collective .Wav(y) throughout the six-hour affair.

Tickets are $10 and are available online, at various Limited Edt stores across the city, The Analog Vault, Goodluck Bunch and Seek (Raffles City). Check out highlights from last year below:
