There’s never a shortage of things to do around town, and this weekend is no different. We pick an eclectic list that’s got one-off gigs, brand new openings (or reopenings, in the case of the magnificent Victoria Theatre) and a hotel art fair, too.
Art Apart Fair 2014
This popular fair drapes over 2,000 works all over the walls and surfaces of ParkRoyal on Pickering, with a special focus on Russian artists this time. There will be live painting, art talks, a closed art auction, matryoska (like the dolls) painting sessions and even lucky draws.

Chicago post-metal trio Russian Circles, known for their visceral, atmospheric sound and hits like “Schipol” and “Cheyenne”, are in town to promote their latest album, Memorial.
