 Electrico – Love at The Sub

One of Singapore’s most established pop-rock bands, Electrico, is back at The Substation, and all for a good cause as well. Proceeds from the band’s gig will go towards helping The Substation raise funds for repair work, with pay-as-you-wish entrance fees and bar sales.

This exhibition features the works of the long established painter couple, with their pieces displayed side by side for the first time in 50 years. Yasuda’s work is famed for his exploration of light, while Murray’s signature style involves a limited palette of four colors.

Based on the 1994 Oscar-winning movie, this musical tells the story of three drag queens who journey to the Australian outback in hopes of reviving their showbiz dreams. Expect glitzy costumes, showy sets and chart-topping songs from the 70’s and 80’s.
