Kim Seng Community Centre smashes aluminium cans to promote recycling in Singapore

In an effort to promote recycling in Singapore, 200 youths from Kim Seng Community Centre’s Youth Executive Committee, Outram Secondary School and Temasek Polytechnic will hold a Smash the Record event at City Square Mall on Jul 30, 2.15pm.
Dr Lily Neo, Member of Parliament for Tanjong Pagar GRC will also join in the fun of smashing as many aluminium cans as possible in three minutes in order to break a local record and promote the “reuse and recycle” concept.
The event will also feature a ‘Go Green’ fashion show, featuring clothes made out recycled material.
