Miffed you missed the five-time Grammy Award winner, Lady Gaga when she was here in Singapore last year? On May 28-29 and 31 (recently announced to accommodate hordes of fans who were left out of the first two shows), the avant-garde-wearing, dance-inducing pop queen who was also named Forbes’ Most Powerful Woman in the World 2011 will perform full shows at the Singapore Indoor Stadium as part of her The Born This Way Ball Tour.
According to the official Facebook page for The Born This Way Ball Tour, The Haus of Gaga (her creative team) has been working for months with the Mother Monster herself, to create a spectacular stage. Says Lady Gaga, “The Born This Way Ball is an Electro-Metal Pop-Opera; the tale of the Beginning, the genesis of the Kingdom of Fame. How we were birthed and how we will die celebrating.”
Lady Gaga’s album Born This Way, which was released in May 2011 has sold over 5 million copies worldwide.
Tickets for The Born This Way Ball Tour in Singapore will go on sale on Sistic from February 27, 10am for $108, $158, $188 and $288.
